- かつしかほくさい【葛飾北斎】(1760-1849) 江戸後期の浮世絵師。 江戸生まれ。 春朗・宗理・画狂人などたびたび号を変えた。 勝川春章の門で浮世絵を学ぶ。 また， 狩野派・土佐派・西洋画などからも画技を学び， 風景版画に新生面を開いた。 その画風はヨーロッパ印象派の発生に大きな影響を与えた。 代表作「富嶽三十六景」「北斎漫画」など。
